Design 1: Waterside garden

I wanted to provide a couple of quite distinct ‘rooms’ here, the first to use as a private eating area and the second located beyond a curved passage and down a couple of steps opening up to a cosy seating area to enjoy the view and sit chatting around a fire or water feature in evening light.

The upper area is large enough to seat four comfortably and has an outdoor oven built in allowing  guests to be entertained when the weather is suitable. Lighting in the garden makes it pleasant, even in autumn evenings.

The lower seating space faces the river and is a 'private' area to share with a few friends with excellent views looking up and down the river below.
