Lawn Repairs

Many problems can make your lawn look very unsightly and can cause serious problems if not  sorted out. The secret to a good lawn is good preparation beforehand and can alleviate many potential problems before they start.

Choosing the correct time to sort problems out is really important, usually meaning the time when you spot the problem. That said, autumn is the best time, with April a close second if autumn is not possible. The best way to repair lawns is to use an existing piece of good turf from an area which will not be noticed, and where this has been removed, build it back up and reseed.

Typically repairs need to made from broken edges, bumps, hollows, bare patches, tree suckers coming through the lawn, replacing the lawn edges when shrubs grow bigger than the border, and dealing with trees in the lawn.
