Kirman Design partners with The Charles Topham Group at Deakins Park

Bolton’s award winning garden designer urges homeowners to make the most of their gardens this winter.

Bolton’s award winning garden designer, Andy Kirman, is urging homeowners to ‘get out there’ and enjoy their gardens through the autumn and winter months.

Andy, who is an expert in utilising space and bringing gardens to life all year round, said: “My ethos on garden design focuses on the concept that outdoor space should not be isolated – people should be outdoors, making the most of their gardens all year round.  A bit of creativity can enable the smallest of gardens to become an extension of the house, with areas to cook, eat, entertain and relax.

“Adding colour and texture through the use of planting around the garden attracts the eye around the space.  A garden can be used in exactly the same way as a living room, kitchen, and lounge area, except the sky is the ceiling and the surrounding environment is the wallpaper.

“I have recently demonstrated this use of space through my latest garden designs at Charles Topham Group’s Deakins Park development in Egerton.  The inspiration for the garden spaces at Deakins Park has originated from the need to optimise the limited space within each of these particular gardens.  Small gardens can be used extremely effectively - by making a few small changes not only will you be creating a fantastic extension to your home, you will be adding value to your property.”

Andy Kirman is working in partnership Charles Topham Group to produce four incredible new gardens for a set of new homes at the £37m residential development, Deakins Park.

Each of the three and four bedroom homes that will receive a new designer garden by Andy Kirman have limited outdoor space (only a feature of specific plots – please contact the marketing suite for further information), this space will now be transformed with every inch being used to its full potential.

Andy Kirman adds: “These contemporary spaces are designed to be practical and aesthetic to the eye.  I feel it is important that each design is flexible enough to be used at any time of the day.  Clever use of stunning lighting, raised planting beds, seating areas and incredible space planning will enhance each space, ensuring the gardens will be admired from inside as well as out.”

Each of the garden designs are now on view at Charles Topham’s Deakins Park Marketing Suite.  A four-bed show house and two-bed show apartment are also open for daily viewing.
